New Integration: Send Certificates to Your Luma Event Guests

Luma has quietly become the go-to platform for meetups, workshops, and community events — and starting today, CertFusion connects directly to it.

You can now import guests from any Luma event and send them personalized certificates in bulk. No CSV exports, no copy-pasting names, no manual work.

What you can do

Import guests straight from your events. Connect your Luma calendar once, then pull guest lists from any event into a certificate template. Each guest comes in with their name, email, approval status, and registration date.

Filter to approved guests only. Running an event with an approval flow? One click filters the import down to approved guests, or you can hand-pick attendees individually.

Map registration questions to your certificate. If your Luma event collects answers like company name or job title, you can map those answers directly onto custom fields in your certificate design. Every certificate comes out personalized beyond just the name.

Re-import safely as registrations roll in. Guests are de-duplicated by email, so you can re-run the import after new signups and only new guests get added. Handy for multi-session events or last-minute registrations.

Issue in bulk. Once imported, review your recipients and send certificates to everyone at once. They're generated and emailed automatically.

How to get started

1. Grab an API key from your Luma calendar under Settings → Developer (requires Luma Plus)
2. Head to Manage Integrations in your CertFusion dashboard and connect Luma
3. Import guests from any event and start issuing

Why we built this

Event organizers were already using CertFusion with Zoom, Eventbrite, and form tools like Typeform and Tally — but Luma kept coming up, especially from community organizers and workshop hosts. If your events are certificate-worthy (CPD sessions, training workshops, bootcamps), this closes the loop between "event ended" and "certificates delivered" in a few clicks.
